If you had to...

Human beings are remarkable creatures. We can create and produce anything we ultimately focus on. Lets talk about protecting the ones you love. If your mother, father, brother, sister, son, daughter, or significant other were in dire need – what would you do to ensure their safety?

I’ll tell you what. You would do whatever it took. Why?

Because instinct and survival takes over – reason, odds, statistics, doubt all fade and your outlook changes to understanding the only outcome that will exist. PERIOD. Is their unquestioned safety. This, I believe, is the difference between those that build long and enduring businesses and those that struggle (see never really get started). This is also why people typically change when their back is against the wall and the pain becomes great enough. You don’t have to wait until you’re “down and out” to break out of the mold.

All I’m saying is if you approached your business from a perspective of – do or die, you might stop worrying about failing and start succeeding.

Hey Mike,

Loved meeting you in the DR. We have some great pictures of our snorkeling trip that we'll send along.

Your words are so true. We all need to treat our businesses as if our backs are against the wall.

Thanks for your leadership. Looking forward to our next event!
