The Romantic

If you’re anything like me you’ve romanced the opportunity to create fortunes through this business model. You’ve crunched the numbers and have calculated that within six weeks you’ll be creating 6 figures and beyond, heck at this point you’ll be the next Jay Kubassek! This is called normal, but lets talk about reality… Sure it’s possible to create massive income right away as an entrepreneur in this industry but lets be honest. You don’t have the experience or the skills required to maintain this level of production. That’s called normal. Unless you’ve “paid your dues” in a similar “skills” oriented profession you probably have a lot to learn and grow from this point.

This is a good place to be… Give yourself room and time to grow the new skills required to create wealth in direct sales and you’ll be extremely grateful you did.

We all romance opportunity, but don’t let it cloud your judgment on moving forward and learning what’s necessary to advance to the next level.

Distinctions

Here are a couple of distinctions that are fundamental to your success:

You can’t make people successful.

You can lead someone through the system, but you can’t make him or her produce

Our business model and products are potentially right for everyone, but not right now.

Timing is EVERYTHING

Leaders lead by example, if you want your team to produce, you need to produce.

Inspire your team by your results, not your words

If you’re not uncomfortable, your probably not doing it right.

The feeling of being uncomfortable means your in an area of potential growth or risk – That’s generally a VERY good place to be – True entrepreneurs don’t create success by treading softly

The desire to quit when things get tough is normal.

Everyone has felt this, the difference between the 1%er’s and everyone else is they don’t let these feelings control their actions – life happens to us all, it’s how we respond that shapes our future

The “process of struggle” before you create the real results and success you’re seeking is referred to as “the journey”. Most people rob themselves of the opportunity to learn the real skills through “the journey” that ultimately lead to the reward and satisfaction garnered.

Money takes a backseat to the real value you’ll gain through this journey of network marketing – if you allow yourself to…

Time to Start Drafting?

We just finished our m2 Wealth Conference in Lake Tahoe, and I've got to tell you if you weren't able to attend you MISSED A LOT! We touched on some major issues that are occurring in the economy, real-time, and how you can protect/position yourself for the unprecedented upcoming wealth transfer about to take place. Powerful.

This information and the real application provided is what I believe sets us apart from every company currently in existence. Don't take my word for it (I attend every m2 Wealth Conference) ask someone else who attended...

Maybe you weren't able to attend, and you're asking: "Mike, what can I do to position myself properly now that the event has come and gone?" Great question.

Professional bicyclists use a technique to maximize their efforts in a race called drafting. Drafting is essentially getting behind one or a more cyclists and leveraging their efforts against the wind. Wind to a cyclist is their MAJOR enemy it causes huge resistance and dramatically increases fatigue. If you’re not the “lead bike” I think it’s time you position yourself right alongside someone who is (attended this m2 Wealth Conference) and start drafting!

Quote from Exploratorium Senior Scientist Paul Doherty on Aerodynamics and Drafting:

“Surprisingly drafting not only helps the bicyclist following the leader, but the lead cyclist gains an advantage as well. The interesting thing is by filling in her eddy you improve the front person's performance as well. So two people who are drafting can put out less energy than two individuals (who are not drafting) would covering the same distance in the same time."

A feeling

Just over 6 years ago I was on campus at Purdue University, a very naive ambitious frustrated young man. My major was economics, but my passion was in owning and running a business. I knew I was destined to be a successful business owner, even though I didn’t know what that actually meant at the time. How did I know? It was a feeling. A feeling that wouldn’t go away... it kept me up late at night and never let me be satisfied during the day. My complete unrest caused me to get frustrated, angry even, and thus began my journey into free enterprise – network marketing. I was angry because I was doing something I knew wasn’t going to lead me to the future I wanted to create. I had the courage to go against the grain and go after the change I instinctively knew existed out there for me.

I know there are millions out there that share the same feelings I went through before finding this industry. Our company is the road map for navigating these tough times, but more importantly, it’s the opportunity to be great. (Who honestly doesn’t have this primal feeling?)

How many people are you dishonoring by not presenting this opportunity to them?

Throw that spaghetti!

When I think of building a business in this industry I think of throwing spaghetti at a wall. I know that sounds odd but this analogy makes the most sense to me and it’s probably the best I can explain it...

If building your business was the same as throwing spaghetti at a wall and the spaghetti that stuck were the ones that “signed up with you” than you would do whatever it took to get as much spaghetti to stick to the wall as possible right? (Sounds easy so far)

The pitfalls of spaghetti tossing:

Most people never even cook the spaghetti and want to claim that their spaghetti won’t stick until they find the perfect recipe or create a new recipe from scratch (reinvent the wheel so to speak). Others cook the spaghetti and talk a good game about throwing it at the wall but never do... Some won’t throw the spaghetti unless they cook it perfectly and if the wind is blowing the wrong direction in the same room they normally throw the spaghetti - all deals are off. Lastly, and definitely the most dangerous pitfall of all: my spaghetti maker doesn’t work, and I’ve invested thousands of dollars on this magical spaghetti maker that was supposed to make all my spaghetti magically stick to the wall but not one noodle has stuck!

Sounds funny and a bit ridiculous when this spaghetti is used as the analogy but it really is that simple and it really is that true. Most people forget or maybe were never told how simple this business is to build. No matter who you are or how you found us, if you expose enough people to our opportunity you will make sales, people will sign up with you.

If you throw one noodle of spaghetti at the wall a day don’t expect big results... If you throw buckets of spaghetti at the wall each and every day, you’ll never go hungry again.
